One girl, one jump rope

Hello lovelies! Haven't posted in a while, yeah sorry about that.

Anyway, I supposed I should update everyone.
Foodwise, I had a "mini" binge. 2374 calories in total, so with my goal that day of 1440 calories I was in excess of 934 calories.

BUT.

Yes, there's a but.

My jump rope came.

It's purple. I was so excited. I still am. So anyway, it came. And after a few jumps, I finally felt like the  super-skilled-fourth-grader-jump-roper I once was. And it felt fantabulous. So I burned about 175 calories.
And from that day to this day, I have not parted with my purple jump rope. I have jumped every day. Happiness. And in total, I have burned 576 calories from 64 minutes of jump roping! I also had some other exercise in the past few days, so right now I'm logging all my excess calories on the mini-binge day until all the excess calories then are cleared. Right now, I have 229 excess calories to burn off from mini-binge day. Ugh.

Also, I'm one day over, if that makes any sense. So today's Tuesday, but I log all my food into Wednesday. That's how much I overate...
Oh well, as soon as I get rid of mini-binge day, I'll start logging all my cals on the actual day, and then log any exercise cals from then on into that day to get rid of the excess. Sounds like a grand plan, not.

Random note: I completed my first all-day fast in forever! (claps for self)

Sadly, I've stalled on my Crunch and Squat challenges. I'm meant to be on Day 21 (180 squats, 115 crunches), but I just completed Day 15 today and so I'm currently on Day 16. How sad...I actually do want to finish it though, no matter how long it takes me (hopefully no longer than 45 days!)

But yeah, jump rope. If you haven't got much money, space or time to get fit, get a jump rope. I got mine for $3 off ebay, and I jump in the barbecue pit (don't laugh okay), for about 15-30 minutes a day (again, don't laugh, I'm building it up haha). And it's sooo fun. Just beware of sore calf muscles the next day ;)

Fasting (for realz)

I can't believe I didn't tell you this before, but I'M FASTING TODAY!

Like FOR REALZ.

And you know why it's so "for realz"? Because my mum agreed to do it with me! Well, she broke hers at 4pm, but I'm still on it! And I do intend to go all the way. And maybe tomorrow if mum doesn't ask.
I had a pizza lunch at school today though! It was hard work resisting...and then we had class parties where there was more food and omggg.
But I did it. Be proud (please)

On another note, I still have to do yesterday's Slow and Steady, Squat and Crunch, and today's Squat and Crunch. Meh.

Guys, school is pretty much over. One more day tomorrow, and then two weeks free! But I have holiday homework...grrr. Sadly, I've already filled up my fasting day today, one of my 40 hour famine days and half of another 40 hour famine day from excess calories accummulated from over the days...quite sad about that, seeing as I saw it as an opportunity to lose 3600 calories. Oh well.

In the holidays, I'm going to try to the best of my ability to
a) go for a very very long walk with a friend
b) have an all-day swim day
c) have a watermelon day
d) try to make CCK's Ultimate Chocolate Fudge Pie, if I feel like it.

Well that's it from me. Have a lovely holiday, all you Aussies xxx

This looks fun...

A bunch of stuff

I have a confession to make.

I haven't been doing the Slow and Steady workout. Or the 30-Day Challenges. I haven't for two days (this is my second day).

I don't know what happened. 21 pushups just seemed like too much. I wasn't sure about the squats, and I didn't want to sweat. So I didn't do it.
I surely plan to do the challenges...make up for the stuff I didn't do as well. It's only right, right? I really should do it.

In terms of foodstuff, I've overeaten...again. Funny though, on Saturday, I was so close to finishing well. I was actually going to finish the day under my calorie goal (for once). And I wasn't even hungry! All I needed to do was eat an orange and then go back to bed. But then...roast chicken, healthy coleslaw, raisins, wheat biscuits and chickpeas entered my stomach as my mum and I watched an interesting TV series on DVD.
If you've never had the experience of wanting to fail because you're so accustomed to it, let me tell you now that it is a weird feeling. It's horrible, because you know you shouldn't and you know you don't have to and you know you're capable of not eating this and that, but one way or another you fail. You ignore all those thoughts and reach for the food anyway, and subsequently you're left feeling like the biggest failure on earth, with zero willpower.
I'm happy right now though. Bear with me, I know I should be upset, but here's why. Today I thought I wasn't going to make it. I thought I would completely lose control and binge (again). But I didn't! Hallelujah! Rather, I "just" overate the day by 500 calories. And I'm happy because tomorrow is my high day. I can have about 1000 calories that day. I'm getting back on track! I'm happy :')
Oh, and guess what?! I completed my willpower exercise on Saturday-no peanbut butter. Not that it was that hard, because I ate it all on Friday.

I'm so determined to completing this daily goal-100 plan binge-free. I looked at my skin today, and it was beyond horrible. My forehead was covered in acne, and my cheeks were beginning to break out too. My cheeks never break out. So as you can imagine, I was pretty crushed. I wrote this note on my phone to myself talking about how bad I look, skin and body. I don't know about you, but this kind of "training" seems to work better for me. I won't ever get anywhere with the "oh, it's okay, just love yourself as you are now" kind of stuff. No, I want HARDCORE.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR MY SKIPPING ROPE TO COME!!! I'm going to get a serious burn and sweat going everyday!
Oh, and guess what?! We might be getting a rowing machine in this house! Not that anyone else except me needs it, because I'm the only one not at gym!! There's this place across our house that sells gym equipment, and they're having an EOFY sale. The rowing machine is $150. Wow, right?
I really really really want it. Now. Only thing is, my dad doesn't seem to comply. My mum does, though and that's all that matters...haha ;) She'll convince him. She always does.
Rowing machines are great calorie burners. Like not just great, but GREAT. And they're so fun!

Guess what. Mum and I went to Rebel Sport outlet today. Sadly, the shorts and tops were all still $20 or so, not $10. But mum just very casually bought two pairs of $50 shoes. And then she bought one for me! They're RED. More reason to go running!!!

So done with squats.

Title says it all-I am so done with squats. I don't even feel it working my glutes, but the front of my thighs instead. I've spent a long time checking out the form of a proper squat online, but it's not working. It's still burning my quads only, not my glutes. And some people say the soreness comes the next day, but it just completely skips me.

So I'm kind of confused. Today I didn't do the squats, I did donkey-lift-kicks instead. But what's stopping me from not giving up my squats is this-my thigh gap has gotten a millimeter bigger. However, my thighs have gotten really quite muscular, but I'm after slim thighs instead. I really want to sculpt my butt, but I just want skinny thighs!!! Maybe I'll do squats every third day.

In the foodie area, I failed again today. Had to log in my excess calories for tomorrow. It's weird though, at about 7pm I was under my goal, quite happily full and satisfied. But I went ahead and ate peanut butter, a banana and a croissant anyway. It's like I was used to being in excess calories. Gotta change that...

So needless to say, I also failed my willpower workout today. What's wrong with me!?!? MaybeI just need to start with something easier. Tomorrow, my workout will be not eating peanut butter, which should be fairly easy, seeing as there's NO MORE IN THE HOUSE!

Haha have a lovely night everyone xxx

Well hello there. . .

Today was my rest day, which I definitely needed because. . . ouch! My motivation kind of started slipping though...I actually considered stopping the 30-Day Challenges. But NO!

This gif is awesome. Well all gifs are awesome, but this one. Im doing these challenges for the rock-hard abs, that butt, that thigh gap, to improve my fitness and there's a whole list. Thanks gif :')

I WILL keep going! Whenever my motivation fades a little bit, I just chck out this amazing fitblr and it has heaps of motivational pictures, quotes and gifs to keep you going. I will complete the 30-Day Challenges, yeah??!!
I haven't been doing all the squats in a row though...I broke the 80 squats yesterday into 50:the rest, because I couldn't do them all in a row. I'll try to get as far as I can though, and then have a 10 second break or so before smashing it out again!
I was also feeling really tired this morning, so I didn't do my Slow and Steady workout...but I did it just then, thanks to this gif :)
Speaking of motivation, I really need to get some photos on here. That might motivate me more...I tried on my size 4 skirt today...nothing changed :( Oh well, it was kind of anticipated, I had two binges in less than 3 weeks.

I failed to stick to my meal plans today.  I nearly did, until dad brought home coleslaw, and it was really low-cal too! So I had some, and the next thing I know I had eaten 30 grams of peanut butter. It was really sweet peanut butter too. Ew. My willpower workout tomorrow will just be avoiding peanut butter, because that is my diet sabotager. Eugh.

Oh, and I just realised I need to start drinking a whole lot more water. I already get the 8 glasses a day, but I should get more. Not only does it fill your stomach, it clears your skin and hydrates your kidneys so our liver can do its primary job of utilising your fat cells!!!

Must complete the 30-day challenges! And stick to all my meal plans!

Bingey Booooo

Ew ew ew ew ew.
Had a massive binge today. What is wrong with me!? I basically forgot about eating 500 calories today.  I woke up late, my hair wasn't working, realised I had footy training, grabbed a banana and 8 wafer cracker thin things. Then I ate a bunch of sultanas in the car. Seriously, what is wrong with me!?

When I got back in the car, because I missed out two crucial days at school, and mum brought along sweetpotato for some reason, I ate that. And then we went to Aldi, and I was like "who cares, I'm never going to be 99, I will never be 99, so let's just eat everything I can see". And I pretty much did. So far I'm at an excess of 2628 calories. What.
Right now, I'm not even going to bother trying to fast it off. It's only going to lead to bigger numbers of excess calories. I'll focus on getting rid of the 3000 now, and save this lot for after I get rid of that.

I really need to strengthen my willpower. Apparently it's just like any other muscle in your body; it can be trained, conditioned and strengthened. Right now I'm planning to strengthen it by doing my workout today, rather than not. Maybe every day I'll exercise my willpower with food and drink, like not eating x for one day or drinking a gallon of water a day or whatever.

I feel so chubb-chubbs though :( I GUESS I'LL HAVE TO WORKOUT TO GET RID OF ALL THIS FAT!!! Don't laugh at me okay, I'm trying to motivate myself...

Oh, and I've nearly finished planning all my meals for tomorrow, so sticking to that will be my willpower exercise for that day...

Best exercise ever:
